Ian is group publisher, business, of Rogers Publishing. Over his two decades as a business journalist—including 12 years as editor-in-chief of PROFIT—Ian has become a trusted media commentator and public speaker on the management issues and best practices of independent business and high-growth companies. He was appointed publisher of PROFIT in January 2012, adding Canadian Business to his portfolio in December 2013 and MoneySense in March 2014. He is a silver-award winner and three-time finalist of the National Magazine Awards, and the co-author of Marketing Masters: The Best Ideas, Tips and Strategies from Canada’s Savviest Marketeers.

As an editor, his general-interest approach and natural curiosity have led him down some innovative paths, most notably as a part of the teams that launched two award-winning publications: men’s magazine Toro and Toronto weekly The Grid.

Carol is an award-winning editor with more than two decades of journalism experience. She has worked at the Vancouver Sun, the Edmonton Journal, the Kingston Whig-Standard and, for 10 years, the Globe and Mail, where she was a features editor at Report on Business magazine. Her work at ROB earned her a National Magazine Award and multiple nominations. Educated at Queen’s University, she has a particular interest in innovation.

Prior to joining Canadian Business, Mark worked as a show producer for the Business News Network, where he oversaw the morning show and was instrumental in developing Commodities. He has been nominated for a National Magazine Award and several Kenneth R. Wilson Awards. Mark has an undergraduate degree in politics from the University of Western Ontario and a master’s degree in journalism from the University of British Columbia.
Michael McCullough, Managing Editor (Western Bureau)
Based in Vancouver, Michael has been covering business in B.C. and Alberta for more than 25 years. He has won or been a finalist for more than a dozen awards at the national and regional levels. While serving as editor of Alberta Venture magazine he was named the inaugural Editor of the Year by the Alberta Magazine Publishers Association in 2008. A graduate of Queen’s University and the Canadian Securities Course, he has expert knowledge of investing and the energy industry.

An experienced editor as well as a web designer/developer and teacher of digital publishing, Graham specializes in technology, global business and opinion. Previously, he was editor of This magazine, which during his tenure was named Canada’s Best Small Magazine three years running by the Canadian Society of Magazine Editors. Taryn joined Rogers in 2012 as deputy art director of MoneySense and PROFIT magazines, and added Canadian Business to her duties in 2014. She started her career with Vancouver magazine in the spring of 2003. Taryn has been nominated for both Western and National Magazine Awards and worked on other titles, including Reader’s Digest and Vancouver Bride.
