VANCOUVER - Ballard Power Systems (TSX: BLD) says it logged a net loss of $7.8 million in the third quarter, up from a loss of $5.7 million in Q3 last year.
Total revenue during the quarter was $20.6 million _ a gain of 25 per cent over the same period a year ago.
The Vancouver-based fuel cell company says it shipped 1,005 units during the quarter, for a total of 2,323 units year-to-date.
"Ballard third quarter results reflect continuing strong improvements on the top-line and bottom-line, including 25% growth in revenue,” said president and CEO John Sheridan.
Ballard Power Systems provides clean energy fuel cell products enabling optimized power systems for a range of applications.
