Foley Products comes to Mississippi

PRENTISS, Miss. (AP) — Foley Products Company, manufacturer of precast concrete products, will open a facility in Prentiss, Miss., in Jefferson Davis County.

Company officials say the project represents a company investment of more than $7 million and will create 40 new jobs.

Foley vice president Chris Davidson says the plant should open in 2012 and will supply precast concrete products customers in Mississippi and the entire Gulf Coast market area.

The Mississippi Development Authority provided assistance for infrastructure improvements, as well as assistance for on-the-job training.

Foley also has plants in Newnan, Ga., Winder, Ga., and Clanton, Ala.
