CALGARY - Boxxer Gold Corp. (TSXV:BXX) has bought out its partner and is now the 100 per cent owner of the Buena Vista copper-gold project in north central Nevada.
Under a deal announced Friday, Boxxer bought a 20 per cent working interest from its partners in return for a one per cent royalty on any gold or copper production from the exploration site.
The junior Calgary mineral explorer said it plans to explore the Buena Vista project by the end of February.
"Now that Boxxer owns a 100 per cent working interest in the Buena Vista copper-gold project, our exploration plans for 2012 can commence," president and CEO Elmer Stewart said in a release.
Boxxer explores the Boss and Buena Vista copper projects in Nevada, the DOK copper-gold property in northwest B.C. and the East Breccia copper-silver-molybdenum property in Ontario.
The company also has other exploration projects.
