Sports software company Ivrnet signs letter of intent to buy NeatWorx

By The Canadian Press  | February 21, 2012

CALGARY - Software company Ivrnet Inc. (TSXV: IVI) says it has a letter of intent to acquire NeatWorx Web Solutions Inc. for an undisclosed price.

Calgary-based says it plans to add the privately held company whose software delivers web-based content management for sports clubs and associations to its ITSportsNet business.

"We believe NeatWorx will enhance the product, service and sales offerings of ITSportsNet, the North American leader in online sports administration, whom we acquired last year," said David Snell, President and CEO at Ivrnet.

"We are optimistic that by adding some of NeatWorx's online features such as camp registrations, birthday bookings and recreational class registrations to ITSportsNet's total product offerings, we will appeal a much broader customer base," he said.

ITSportsNet is a division of Ivrnet Inc., that provides sports administration software products that simplify and manage processes including registration, scheduling and website content.
