4 simulators for U.S. Navy among $140-million of contracts for CAE Inc.


MONTREAL – CAE Inc. (TSX:CAE) has won a series of contracts in the United States, Poland, Germany and Malaysia worth more than $140 million in total.

The Montreal-based company says one of the contracts is to provide four simulators for the Boeing P-8A long-range patrol jet used by the U.S. navy for warfare, reconnaissance, intelligence and surveillance.

CAE will also provide an full flight simulator to the Polish air force. The SW-4 simulator will be used to train pilots to fly a light utility helicopter developed by PZL-Swidnik, an AgustaWestland company.

CAE will also provide training support services for the German air force and equipment support services for an AW139 simulator at the PWN Excellence training centre in Subang, Malaysia.
