Casino operator to open new facility in northwestern New Brunswick

MONCTON, N.B. – The operator of Casino New Brunswick says it has reached an agreement to open a new gaming facility in northwestern New Brunswick.

Sonoco Gaming New Brunswick Ltd., which operates the casino in Moncton, says it has agreed to a gaming service provider agreement that will see it open a facility at the Grey Rock Entertainment Centre on the Madawaska Maliseet First Nation.

The company says the new casino will begin with a smaller temporary site designed to benefit from tourism visits to the area for the World Acadian Congress, which opens Friday in Edmundston.

Sonoco says the facility will open with the approval of the New Brunswick Lotteries and Gaming Corp.

The company hold exclusive rights to casino activity in the province.

Note to readers: This is a corrected story. A previous version wrongly placed the casino in northeastern New Brunswick when it is to be built in the northwestern part of the province.

  1. I like getting the letters, but please do not go telling folks they are heading to get about just one a week. I have been lucky for getting one a month. You need to do a little better than that….or end the pinocchio stories at the very least. If one a month is what it is, then that is what it is.

  2. hi!,I like your writing very much! share we communicate more about your post on AOL? I need a specialist on this area to solve my problem. May be that
