Constellation Software Q4 profit up slightly; acquisitions boost revenue to $1.2B


TORONTO – Constellation Software Inc. (TSX:CSU) has reported an increase in both revenue and earnings in the fourth quarter.

The global provider of software and services to governments and business says net income increased six per cent to US$43 million or $2 per diluted share from US$40 million or $1.89 per share in the same 2012 period.

Revenue grew 30 per cent — including five per cent organic growth — to US$340 million from US$261

For the full year, net income was US$93.1 million or $4.39 per share on $1.21 billion in revenue, up from $92.6 million or $4.37 per share on revenue of $891 million.

Based in Toronto, Constellation serves more than 30,000 customers in over 30 countries.
