TORONTO – Some of the most active companies traded Monday on the Toronto Stock Exchange and the TSX Venture Exchange:

Toronto Stock Exchange (15,146.01, up 51.76 points):

Talon Metals Corp. (TSX:TLO). Down 0.5 cents, or 1.35 per cent, to 36.5 cents on 4.7 million shares.

Twin Butte Energy Ltd. (TSX:TBE). Oil and gas. Up three cents, or 1.69 per cent, to $1.80 on 4.4 million shares.

Yamana Gold Inc. (TSX:YRI). Miner. Up 19 cents, or 2.21 per cent, to $8.78 on 3.9 million shares.

BlackBerry Ltd. (TSX:BB). Communication equipment. Up 48 cents, or 4.59 per cent, to $10.94 on 3.5 million shares.

Fortis Inc. (TSX:FTS.IR). Utilities. Down one cent, or 0.03 per cent, to $38.23 on 2.9 million shares.

Eldorado Gold Corp. (TSX:ELD). Miner. Up eight cents, or 0.99 per cent, to $8.16 on 2.9 million shares.

Toronto Venture Exchange (1,028.43, up 5.46 points):

Keek Inc. (TSXV:KEK). Online media. Up one cent, or 5.71 per cent, to 18.5 cents on 6.5 million shares.

Theralase Technologies Inc. (TSXV:TLT). Medical devices. Up three cents, or 8.57 per cent, to 38 cents on 3.1 million shares.

Companies reporting major news:

Bombardier (TSX:BBD.B). Aerospace, trains. Unchanged at $3.77 on 5.3 million shares. The company has received a firm order for 16 CRJ900 NextGen regional jets, with an option on eight others. The company says the value of the firm order is about US$727 million, although the contract could increase to US$1.12 billion if all options are exercised by the customer, who asked not to be identified at this time.
