But about 300 of them may be weathering the cold a little better than others, thanks to Canada Goose, which supplied jury members and filmmakers with custom-designed jackets.
It’s a unique opportunity for Toronto-based Canada Goose, this year’s official outerwear sponsor of the festival, to clad typically fashionable film folks in arctic apparel.
The Burnett Jacket for Sundance (pictured), while uninspired in name, is branded with a “Sundance Film Festival” logo on its upper-left sleeve, making it one-of-a-kind. Or rather, 300-of-a-kind.
According to Canada Goose’s blog, the “jacket has gone through a rigorous design process with a whole gander of Goose members taking part.”
The Geese will be on the ground too, as “members of the Goose family (will) be zipping around Park City sporting Goose,” the blog says.
Oh, and make sure not to miss the Goose girls, who will be there until Saturday. Yes, Goose girls—apparently it’s a thing.
