Toronto’s startup scene can expect a new addition this winter—Vancouver-based messaging app Slack is coming to town. The company announced the expansion during TechCrunch’s Disrupt conference in San Fransisco, saying that they plan to open a new office in the city this winter.

The expansion, set to take place over the next two years, will mean 145 new jobs for Toronto. The company said that it chose the location for the diverse talent pool the city has to offer. The company, currently headquartered in San Fransisco, has 600 employees, and offices in Vancouver, Dublin and Melbourne.

The office is set to open sometime in December, at 171 John Street, and job applications are already open.
