  1. Congratulations to the winners! Most of them still need to work on eCommerce and online engagement, but we’re getting there.

  2. Nice lineup of Canadian brands. Once again, though, you’ve picked up a tired old Home Hardware pic that was used last year, as well, and is about 10 years out of date. Hardly representative of how well they’re doing now.

  3. Where is the full list of brands considered? And how were the brands chosen to begin with?

    • ^ this!

  4. As an employee of Sobeys, and a resident of a major Western Canadian city, this list is clearly not representative of the Canadian population as a whole. For one thing, the perception of Sobeys in Western Canada has been terrible over the past couple years and is only now starting to recover in any way. Second, the fact that Home Hardware is number two, despite having no presence in several major cities also makes this list dubious.
Lastly, the number of Quebec companies on this list that don’t exist outside the province make this seem like a very Eastern Canada based ranking. I’m not trying to bash on this listing, but given the sample size of only 1,503 people and the companies on it, it just seems not very representative of the country as a whole.
