Technology is increasingly the backbone of business, powering and enabling every other facet. So it’s perhaps not surprising that the information technology industry takes up just over a tenth of the spots on the 2017 PROFIT 500 ranking of Canada’s Fastest-Growing Companies.

The 51 IT firms on this year’s ranking grew their revenues an average of 347% between 2011 and 2016. Collectively they employed 4,441 full time-equivalent employees in 2016.
