Judge Redfield Baum has decided that Phoenix Coyotes owner Jerry Moyes controls the team, but an even trickier question looms: Can the franchise be moved? Baum has given the two sides until June 5 to submit their respective positions and will give a decision as soon as June 9, when the two sides are due back in court. But even if Jim Balsillie wins, does the NHL have to put his team on the schedule? Maybe not.
