Utilities companies shares up at 10 a.m.

NEW YORK (AP) - Shares of some top utilities companies are up at 10 a.m.:

AEP rose $.23 or .8 percent, to $30.80.

ConEd rose $.12 or .3 percent, to $41.00.

Duke Energy rose $.10 or .6 percent, to $15.82.

Pepco Holdings rose $.02 or .1 percent, to $14.92.

Southern Co rose $.10 or .3 percent, to $31.09.
