Northrop Grumman gets $96.7 million Navy contract for services on Ohio class submarine

WASHINGTON (AP) - Northrop Grumman Corp.'s shipbuilding unit received a $96.7 million contract from the Navy for a wide range of services for the Ohio class submarines, the Pentagon said late Monday.

Work will be performed in Newport News, Va., and is expected to be completed by September 2010.

Shares of the Los Angeles-based company added 74 cents to close at $56.01.
