LONDON (Marketwire) - Independent search marketing agency Greenlight has been ranked as the top integrated search agency in the 2009 Sunday Times Tech Track 100. This is the second year Greenlight has taken part in the survey, which is now in its ninth year.

The prestigious league table ranks Britain's 100 fastest growing private technology firms by their sales growth over a three year period. Greenlight achieved an overall ranking of 14 this year, ahead of its competitors, making it the fastest growing digital marketing agency in Britain. The agency had reached position 21 on the league table the previous year.

Greenlight's rapid growth has been fuelled largely by the development of its proprietary technologies. These include paid search tools Quant(TM) and Adapt(TM). Quant intuitively optimises bids amongst vast portfolios of keywords whilst Adapt works with client inventories and stock levels to ensure that PPC adverts created for display in search engines are always 100% accurate in terms of product specs, pricing and availability. Greenlight has also developed SearchSentry(TM), a platform that helps companies protect their brands online.

Warren Cowan, CEO and founder of Greenlight said: "I am absolutely delighted not only to have been recognized by the Sunday Times Tech Track for the second year running but to now be the fastest growing agency in our sector is an incredible achievement. I am very proud of my team and I think this award is a real testament to pushing the boundaries within the industry and our commitment to our clients. We look forward to Greenlight's continued natural growth and success over the coming year."

Following the publication of the Tech Track yesterday, Greenlight will attend an awards dinner on 17th November at Vinopolis in London.

The agency's impressive client roster includes British Gas, Interflora and Vodafone.
