Dalhousie University MBA Program

Rowe’s full-time program is built around an eight-month residency at a firm in Canada or abroad, which students undertake after their second semester. Prior to this, students complete nine core courses; afterward, they take another three compulsory courses and seven electives. In addition to the many business-focused lessons, the program-spanning personal and professional effectiveness course focuses on practical leadership skills. Rowe also offers two specialized, part-time blended online-classroom degrees, in financial services or leadership, for candidates who are already employed. Both include 10 core MBA courses, plus four specialized ones in the relevant field, with a capstone session in Halifax. The full-time program begins in June, while part-time students typically start in January or August.
