McMaster University MBA Program

The DeGroote EMBA in Digital Transformation, which began its first-ever classes in September, is focused on the ways in which technology is changing the world of business. Students take courses in four 10-day sessions or ‘modules,’ the second of which takes place in Palo Alto, California. (The other three are conducted at DeGroote’s Burlington campus). In addition to traditional EMBA topics like finance and marketing, students are also study data science, business analytics and entrepreneurship, among other technologically-oriented disciplines. The program begins in September, in time for the school’s annual Digital Leadership Summit, a one-day conference in Toronto that brings together executives, directors, academics and students to discuss organizational transformation. Across all four modules, students receive training in personal leadership and communication skills and work in teams on an integrative capstone project.
