Amaya has sold its legal gaming software throughout the world. It enables domestic users to buy lottery tickets from their phones and charge the cost directly to their mobile account. Regulators can track operator revenues, curb illegal operations and monitor the collection of taxes. Since going public on TSX Venture in 2010, Amaya has expanded aggressively, last year acquiring Chartwell Technology Inc., and this year acquiring CryptoLogic Ltd., another maker of gambling software with a strong presence in Europe. Revenue of $8.9 million in the first three quarters of 2011 was up more than 170% over the same period in 2010.
