KING CITY, Ont. – ClubLink Enterprises Ltd. (TSX:CLK) said Tuesday it has bought the TPC Eagle Trace golf course in Coral Springs, Fla., for US$3.4 million.
TPC Eagle Trace opened in 1983 and has been home to the PGA Tour’s Honda Classic for nine years.
The purchase gives ClubLink a total of 12 18-hole equivalent championship and two 18-hole equivalent academy courses in Florida.
In total, the company now owns or operates 53.5 18-hole equivalent championship and six 18-hole equivalent academy courses in Florida, Ontario and Quebec.
The company also runs the White Pass & Yukon Route, a railway that heads from Skagway, Alaska, to Whitehorse as well as three docks primarily used for cruise ships.
