The tax preparer reported a bigger profit and more revenue than analysts expected.

Mattress Firm Holding Corp., down $4.18 to $29.40

The bedding maker behind Serta and other brands reported weak quarterly results and cut its estimates for the year.

Global Blood Therapeutics Inc., up $2 to $24.15

The company reported positive results from a study of its most advanced drug, a potential treatment for sickle cell disease.

Urban Outfitters Inc., down $1.61 to $26.32

The retailer said sales at established stores are continuing to fall so far in the second quarter.

Mylan NV, down $1.23 to $44.53

A Wells Fargo analyst said the drugmaker has sharply raised the price of some products and could face regulatory scrutiny as a result.

Axiall Corp., up $6.75 to $32.56

The chemicals maker agreed to be acquired by ethylene producer Westlake Chemical for $33 per share, or $2.33 billion.
