TORONTO – TORONTO (AP) _ Corus Entertainment Inc. (CJREF) on Wednesday reported fiscal second-quarter net income of $76.6 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
The Toronto-based company said it had net income of 88 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 18 cents per share.
The media company posted revenue of $148.1 million in the period.
Corus shares have increased 19 per cent since the beginning of the year. The stock has dropped 33 per cent in the last 12 months.
