SAN DIEGO – SAN DIEGO (AP) _ Cytori Therapeutics Inc. (CYTX) on Thursday reported a loss of $2.8 million in its fourth quarter.
The San Diego-based company said it had a loss of 2 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring gains, were 3 cents per share.
The developer of cell therapies posted revenue of $1.6 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported that its loss narrowed to $18.7 million, or 14 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $4.8 million.
Cytori expects full-year revenue in the range of $12 million to $14 million.
In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, the company’s shares hit 21 cents. A year ago, they were trading at $1.20.
