Detour Gold completes repairs at Ontario plant, expects to resume operations

TORONTO – Detour Gold Corp. (TSX:DGC) said it has finished repairs at its processing plant in northern Ontario and expects to resume operations Thursday.

The gold miner said it hopes to operate at a rate of 50,000 tonnes per day within a week of this restart.

Detour Gold owns the Detour Lake mine, about 185 kilometres northeast of Corchrane, Ont.

The processing plant was shut down on Dec. 17 due to mechanical issues.
