WESTMOUNT, Que. – WESTMOUNT, Quebec (AP) _ Dorel Industries Inc. (DIIBF) on Friday reported first-quarter earnings of $16.7 million.
The Westmount, Quebec-based company said it had net income of 51 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 60 cents per share.
The maker of bicycles, child safety products and home furnishings posted revenue of $645.9 million in the period.
Dorel Industries shares have decreased almost 3 per cent since the beginning of the year. The stock has dropped 25 per cent in the last 12 months.
