The health insurer posted disappointing second-quarter results as its medical costs increased.

Newell Brands Inc., up $3.07 to $52.46

The consumer goods maker’s stock hit an 18-year high after its results were stronger than expected.

Eastman Chemical Co., down $5.14 to $65.23

The specialty chemicals company’s profit and revenue were both smaller than analysts had forecast.
