Federal government to spend $4.4 million on community projects in Saskatchewan

REGINA _ The federal government is spending $4.4 million on community infrastructure projects in Saskatchewan.

The government says 62 recreational and cultural facilities in Regina and across the province will be benefit from the cash.

The projects include upgrades to cultural centres, ball diamonds, rinks, gymnasiums, spray parks and other facilities.

The money is part of a program to help celebrate Canada’s 150th anniversary.
