DIEPPE, N.B. – Young francophones are being invited to New Brunswick for a forum on green jobs and the sustainable economy.
The province is hosting the forum this month in Moncton with the International Organization of La Francophonie.
Economic Development Minister Francine Landry says the gathering is meant to help create jobs in the future, promote entrepreneurship and train young people in the green economy.
She says francophones between the ages of 18 to 34 can present projects aimed at creating jobs in the green economy sector.
The forum will feature a green jobs fair for young people to present projects and make contacts with technical and financial partners.
This is the third forum of its kind, with the previous one held in Niger.
