Grain Mixed, livestock mostly higher

CHICAGO – Grain futures were mixed Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery was 9.60 cents a bale higher at $4.8560 a bushel; July corn was 1.60 cents lower at $4.13 bushel; July oats was 2.40 cents lower at $1.88 a bushel; while July soybeans gained 19.40 cents to $11.3860 a bushel.

Beef mixed and pork prices were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle was .22 cent higher at $1.2215 a pound; August feeder cattle was 1.22 cents lower at $1.4678 a pound; June lean hogs gained 1.23 cents to $.8253 a pound.
