Grain lower, livestock higher

CHICAGO – Grain futures were lower Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery lost 4 cents to $4.7525 a bushel; March corn was .75 cents lower at 3.7125 a bushel; March oats were down 3.50 cents to 1.9725 a bushel; while March soybeans lost 1.50 cents at $8.8075 bushel.

Beef higher and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. April live cattle was up .42 cent to $1.3442 a pound; March feeder cattle gained .52 cent to $1.5777 a pound; while April lean hogs was unchanged at $.7070 a pound.
