Grain higher, livestock mostly lower

CHICAGO – Grain futures were higher Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery was up .25 cent at $4.5325 a bushel; May corn was 4.25 cents higher to 3.76 a bushel; May oats rose .50 cent to $1.8125 a bushel; while May soybeans advanced 22.75 cents to $10.2625 a bushel.

Beef was mixed and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. June live cattle was up 1.10 cents to $1.2072 a pound; May feeder cattle fell .58 cents to $1.4737 a pound; while May lean hogs fell .77 cent at $.7680 a pound.
