Grain mostly lower, livestock mixed

CHICAGO – Grain futures were mostly lower Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery was up 3.25 cents to $4.9325 a bushel; May corn fell .75 cent to 3.88 a bushel; May oats were 3.75 cents lower at $2.8250 a bushel; while May soybeans were off 8.75 cents to $9.8450 a bushel.

Beef higher and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle was up .75 cent to $1.5475 a pound; May feeder cattle rose 1.28 cents to $2.0835 a pound; while April lean hogs were .10 cent lower at $.6597 a pound.
