Grain mixed on the CBOT, cattle and pork higher on the CME

CHICAGO – Grain futures were mixed Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery was 1 cent higher at 6.1375 a bushel; March corn was 2.75 cents higher at 4.2725 a bushel; March oats were unchanged at $3.545 a bushel; while March soybeans were 2.75 cents lower at 13.11 a bushel.

Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle rose .20 cent to $1.3255 a pound; March feeder cattle was .07 cent higher at $1.6592 a pound; February lean hogs rose .05 cent to $.8640 a pound.
