Grain mostly higher, livestock lower

CHICAGO – Grain futures were mostly higher Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Sept. was up 1.50 cents at $4.2350 a bushel; Sept. corn rose 1 cent to 3.2750 a bushel; Sept. oats was gained .50 cent at $1.7250 a bushel; while Sept. soybeans fell 4.25 cents to $10.1950 a bushel.

Beef and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. August live cattle was off .42 cent at $1.1550 a pound; August feeder cattle fell 1.53 cents to $1.4712 a pound; while October lean hogs lost 2.65 cents at $.5985 a pound.
