Grain mixed, livestock mostly higher

CHICAGO – Grain futures were mixed Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Sept. was unchaged at $4.17 a bushel; Sept. corn fell 3 cents to 3.2225 a bushel; Sept. oats was off 1.25 cents at $1.7525 a bushel; while Aug. soybeans rose 3.25 cents to $10.22 a bushel.

Beef was higher and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. August live cattle was up .05 cent at $1.1697 a pound; August feeder cattle rose 1.05 cents to $1.5017 a pound; while August lean hogs lost .18 cent at $.6692 a pound.
