CHICAGO — Grain futures were mostly higher Monday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for Dec. delivery was up 1.20 cents at $5.3120 a bushel; Dec. corn was off .20 cent at $3.6640 a bushel; Dec. oats advanced 24.80 cents at $3.18 a bushel; while Jan. soybeans gained 12 cents at 8.9840 a bushel.
Beef was higher and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Dec. live cattle was up .95 cent at $1.2080 a pound; Jan. feeder cattle rose 1.27 cents at $1.4177 a pound; Dec. lean hogs fell 1.57 cents at .6025 a pound.
