Vertex Pharmaceuticals Inc., up $26.92 to $93.53

The drug developer’s potential cystic fibrosis treatment met key goals in a study and the company will ask for FDA approval. Group Inc., down $6.90 to $27.70

Micron Technology Inc., up $1.24 to $32.50
