LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The number of passengers flying into and out of Las Vegas grew nearly 6 per cent year-over-year in September to 3.7 million travellers.
McCarran International Airport announced Thursday that passenger traffic has increased 5 per cent in 2015 so far compared to a year ago.
The airport reports its largest carrier Southwest Airlines ferried 4 per cent more travellers than a year ago. The airport’s top five carriers all reported increases for the month except for American Airlines whose traffic dropped 2.8 per cent.
The airport says U.S. traffic increased 6 per cent to 3.3 million passengers and international travel increased 4 per cent to 307,998 travellers.
