Macy’s Inc., up 74 cents to $36.89

The wine, liquor and beer company reported better-than-expected third-quarter results and will expand its Mexican beer brands.

J.C. Penney Co., up 26 cents to $7.26

The department store operator reported a boost in sales at established stores, a key measure of a retailer’s health, over the holiday season.


Finish Line Inc., down $1.87 to $16.63

The shoe store reported a fiscal third-quarter loss that was worse than analysts were expecting.

Yahoo Inc., down $2 to $30.16

The Internet company could start to cut 10 per cent or more of its workforce, according to a report from Business Insider.

Zumiez Inc., up $1.73 to $16.81

The retailer boosted its profit and revenue forecasts following upbeat sales during the holiday season.

Globus Medical Inc., down $1.32 to $26.27

The medical device company’s 2016 sales estimate fell short of Wall Street’s forecasts.
