Encana Corp. (TSX:ECA). Oil and gas. Down 82 cents, or 8.34 per cent, to $9.01 on seven million shares.
Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Aerospace, rail equipment. Down 12 cents, or 9.30 per cent, to $1.17 on 6.9 million shares.
Penn West Petroleum Ltd. (TSX:PWT). Oil and gas. Down 19 cents, or 18.45 per cent, to 84 cents on 5.7 million shares. Penn West Petroleum is cutting its workforce by 35 per cent or more than 400 full-time employees and contractors, suspending its dividend and further reducing capital spending as it struggles with a low price enviroment.
Crescent Point Energy (TSX:CPG). Oil and gas. Down 80 cents, or 4.74 per cent, to $16.08 on five million shares.
First Quantum Minerals Ltd. (TSX:FM). Miner. Down 72 cents, or 10.50 per cent, to $6.14 on five million shares.
Manulife Financial Corp. (TSX:MFC). Financial Services. Down $1.05, or 4.91 per cent, to $20.33 on 4.3 million shares.

Husky Energy Inc. (TSX:HSE). Oil and gas. Down $1.20, or 5.12 per cent, to $22.23 on 938,869 shares. Husky Energy has taken another step towards increasing production at the Sunrise oilsands operations, 60 kilometres northeast of Fort McMurray, Alta. The Calgary-based company says the second of two processing plants at Sunrise has begun steam operations, to soften the gooey bitumen for extraction.
