Teck Resources Ltd. (TSX:TCK.B). Miner. Up $1.04, or 8.46 per cent, to $13.34 on 12.7 million shares.

First Quantum Minerals Ltd. (TSX:FM). Miner. Up $1.20, or 15.73 per cent, to $8.83 on 12.4 million shares.

Encana Corp. (TSX:ECA). Oil and gas. Up 42 cents, or 4.91 per cent, to $8.97 on 7.8 million shares.

Baytex Energy Corp. (TSX:BTE). Oil and gas. Up 26 cents, or 4.62 per cent, to $5.89 on 7.7 million shares.

Yamana Gold Inc. (TSX:YRI). Miner. Up 24 cents, or 4.49 per cent, to $5.58 on 7.7 million shares.

Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Aerospace, rail equipment. Up eight cents, or 5.10 per cent, to $1.65 on 7.5 million shares.

Rogers Communications Inc. (TSX:RCI.B). Telecom. Down 93 cents or 1.85 per cent to $49.27 on 1.6 million shares. In a statement issued Monday after markets closed, Rogers reported lower year-over-year profits in the first quarter, citing among other reasons higher restructuring costs and an increase in the adjusted operating loss of its traditional media business.

TVA Group Inc. (TSX:TVA.B). Entertainment. Down four cents, or 0.97 per cent, to $4.09 on 2,000 shares. Quebecor Media’s TVA Group says it plans to close its business channel Argent next week. The television network says it “reluctantly” made the decision because of industry changes that make it impossible for the channel to be profitable.
