B2Gold Corp. (TSX:BTO). Miner. Up 29 cents, or 13.30 per cent, to $2.47 on 13.4 million shares.

RB Energy Inc. (TSX:RBI). Oil and gas. Down 2.5 cents, or 33.33 per cent, to five cents on 11.2 million shares.

Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Aerospace. Unchanged at $3.60 on 6.3 million shares.

Canadian Natural Resources Ltd. (TSX:CNQ). Oil and gas. Down 24 cents, or 0.60 per cent, to $39.76 on 6 million shares.

Suncor Energy Inc. (TSX:SU). Oil and gas. Down 29 cents, or 0.75 per cent, to $38.24 on 6 million shares.

MBAC Fertilizer Corp. (TSX:MBC). Agriculture. Down four cents, or 28.57 per cent, to 10 cents on 5.8 million shares.

Companies reporting major news:

Encana Corp (TSX:ECA). Oil and gas. Down 28 cents, or 1.18 per cent, to $23.43 on 2.6 million shares. The company has agreed to sell more than 6,800 producing gas wells and other portions of its Clearwater assets in southern and central Alberta for about $605 million to Ember Resources Inc. The deal will more than double Ember’s land and production holdings in Alberta, which are concentrated on coal bed methane lands in the Horseshoe Canyon area.

Jean Coutu Group Inc. (TSX:PJC.A). Retail. Up 58 cents, or 2.38 per cent, to $24.99 on 307,854 shares. The Montreal-area company is stepping up its promotional activity to retain the loyalty of consumers in the face of intense competition from other pharmacy chains and discount retailers. In the past quarter, the company offered deep promotional discounts by offering specials during two weekends that drove increased sales. That’s on top of the regular weekly flyer it says is key to attracting customers into its stores.
