NexGen Energy Ltd. (TSX:NXE). Miner. Up 23 cents, or 13.53 per cent, to $1.93 on 9.3 million shares.

B2Gold Corp. (TSX:BTO). Miner. Down nine cents, or 2.69 per cent, to $3.26 on eight million shares.

Kinross Gold Corp. (TSX:K). Miner. Down six cents, or 1.24 per cent, to $4.79 on 7.3 million shares.

Valeant Pharmaceuticals International Inc. (TSX:VRX). Pharmaceutical. Up 27 cents, or 1.12 per cent, to $24.30 on 3.1 million shares. U.S. prosecutors have charged a former executive with Valeant Pharmaceuticals and the head of a defunct U.S. mail-order pharmacy with conspiring to defraud the Quebec-based drug giant through a multimillion-dollar kickback scheme. The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York said Thursday that Gary Tanner, 39, a former executive at Valeant, and Andrew Davenport, 48, the former CEO of Philidor Rx Services, were arrested. The men each face four charges, including wire fraud, conspiracy to commit wire fraud and conspiracy to commit money laundering.
