Suncor Energy Inc. (TSX:SU). Oil and gas. Down 43 cents, or 1.37 per cent, at $30.99 on 4,366,771.

Baja Mining Corp. (TSX:BAJ). Miner. Down one cent, or 1.09 per cent, at 91 cents on 4,086,078 shares.

Cline Mining Corp. (TSX:CMK). Miner. Up four cents, or 4.21 per cent, at 99 cents, on 3,607,953 shares.

Jaguar Financial Corp. (TSX:JFC). Merchant bank. Up half a cent, or 10 per cent, at 5.5 cents on 3,424,300 shares.

Africa Oil Corp. (TSXV:AOI). Oil and gas. Up 47 cents, or 9.36 per cent, at $5.49 on 3,440,259 shares.

East West Petroleum Corp. (TSXV:EW). Oil and gas. Up 10.5 cents, or 29.17 per cent, at 46.5 cents on 2,377,407 shares.

Canadian Pacific Railway Ltd. (TSX:CP). Transportation. Up 42 cents, or 0.55 per cent, at $76.45 on 650,283 shares. Canadian Pacific reported sharply improved operating results and a quarterly profit of $142-million that beat analysts expectations as the railway’s management battles back against the company’s biggest shareholder, who is seeking to replace chief executive Fred Green.

Encana Corp. (TSX:ECA). Oil and gas. Down 10 cents, or 0.56 per cent, at $17.90 on 1,278,408 shares. A Japanese company is investing $602 million to acquire a share of Encana Corp.’s extensive coalbed methane reserves in southern Alberta. Encana says Toyota Tsusho Corp. will acquire a 32.5 per cent royalty interest in about 5,500 existing and future Encana coalbed methane wells.
