La Mancha Resources Inc. (TSX:LMA). Miner. Up $1.18, or 52.44 per cent, at $3.43 on 7,894,351 shares.Weather Investments II has offered to purchase all outstanding common shares of La Mancha at $3.50 a share in cash for a total of $499.5 million.

Progress Energy Resources Corp. (TSX:PRQ). Oil and gas. Up one cent, or 0.05 per cent, at $20.07 on 7,139,187 shares.

Ivanhoe Mines Ltd. (TSX:IVN.RT). Miner. Up seven cents, or 16.67 per cent, at 49 cents on 6,277,166 shares.

Encana Corp. (TSX:ECA). Oil and gas. Up one cent, or 0.05 per cent, at $19.98 on 6,260,568 shares.

Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Transportation equipment. Up 0.05 cents, or 1.30 per cent, at $3.91 on 5,287,014 shares. The company signed $3.27 billion in firm orders and other commitments at this year’s Farnborough International Airshow.

Canadian Natural Resources Ltd. (TSX:CNQ). Oil and gas. Up 29 cents, or 1.11 per cent, at $26.41 on 4,731,182 shares.

TSX Venture Exchange (1,186.96 up 17.76 points):

Zodiac Exploration Inc. (TSXV:ZEX). Miner. Unchanged at three cents on 4,850,550 shares.

Pinecrest Energy Inc. (TSXV:PRY). Oil and gas. Up 19 cents, or 12.34 per cent, at $1.73 on 3,476,487 shares.

Research In Motion Ltd. (TSX:RIM). Consumer technology. Down 21 cents, or 2.78 per cent, at $7.35 on 1,233,171 shares. Little has changed for the company which still faces a make-or-break proposition to bring its BlackBerry 10 system to market. Calls for change at the board and in the CEO suite will do little if the company can’t deliver on its promise of a revolutionary smartphone, experts say.
