CHARLOTTETOWN – The P.E.I. government says 170 jobs will be created over nine years at an Island financial firm through payroll rebates.
The province says it has approved $4 million in payroll rebates for Invesco, a global investment firm based in Charlottetown.
The government says Invesco has committed to growing its workforce from 230 employees to 400 over nine years.
The company moved to Charlottetown eight years ago and has become one the area’s largest employers.
