MONTREAL – MONTREAL (AP) _ Resolute Forest Products Inc. (RFP) on Thursday reported a loss of $214 million in its fourth quarter.
The Montreal-based company said it had a loss of $2.39 per share. Losses, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 29 cents per share.
The maker of paper and wood products posted revenue of $894 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported that its loss narrowed to $257 million, or $2.78 per share. Revenue was reported as $3.65 billion.
Resolute Forest Products shares have decreased 29 per cent since the beginning of the year. The stock has decreased 68 per cent in the last 12 months.
