TORONTO – Rogers Communications says it is shutting down its online real estate brokerage Zoocasa.
Rogers spokeswoman Allison Fitton says the online brokerage is no longer a good fit with the company’s core focus area.
Zoocasa’s website and mobile app will be shut down on June 22.
The brokerage was best known for publishing the sale prices of homes, a practice that the Toronto Real Estate Board has opposed, arguing that publishing such data violates the privacy of sellers.
