LOS ANGELES, Calif. – LOS ANGELES (AP) _ Spark Networks Inc. (LOV) on Thursday reported a fourth-quarter loss of $1.2 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

The Los Angeles-based company said it had a loss of 5 cents per share.

The online dating company posted revenue of $10.7 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported that its loss widened to $1.4 million, or 6 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $48.1 million.

In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, the company’s shares hit $3.32. A year ago, they were trading at $3.59.
